Paper / Desktop extension
Bring paper
to the trenches.
A separate paper trading panel alongside Fomo, Axiom, Terminal, GMGN, Photon and more. Virtual SOL, your presets, and a wallet that stays in your browser.
Choose your desktop browser. Chrome and Edge use the same unpacked package. Firefox has a separate compatible package for temporary installation. These downloads are not store listings. The web terminal works without installing an extension.
Chrome and Edge.
- Download and unzip. Extract the ZIP into a permanent folder. Keep the folder after installing.
- Open the extensions page. In Chrome, open
chrome://extensions. In Edge, useedge://extensions. - Enable Developer mode. Use the switch in the upper corner, then select Load unpacked.
- Select the extracted folder. Choose the folder containing
manifest.json. Pin Paper from the browser's extensions menu. - Open a Solana token. On a supported token page, the paper panel appears in the corner. Refresh an already-open terminal tab after installing or updating. Confirm its token address before trading. Or click the extension icon and paste a contract directly.
Firefox.
- Download the Firefox package. Extract the ZIP. Use Firefox 140 or later on desktop.
- Open the debugging page. Enter
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefoxin the address bar. - Load the temporary add-on. Click Load Temporary Add-on and select the extracted
manifest.json. - Open Paper. Use the toolbar popup or open a supported Solana token page.
Temporary installation lasts until Firefox restarts. Export your wallet before ending the session. A regular persistent Firefox installation requires a Mozilla-signed XPI; this download is not signed and cannot provide that installation method.
Supported Solana pages.

Also includes Solana token-page adapters for Trojan, Telemetry, Jupiter, Azura, Definitive, Shotgun, Trenchers, Cielo, DEX Screener and Pump.fun.
The panel appears on a recognized token page and follows the selected contract. It closes when you return to Pulse, a homepage, a search page or another section without an active token. Opening another token starts a fresh quote. Non-Solana pages do not use the SOL paper wallet.
If a terminal changes its page format or the token has no usable quote, the panel tells you instead of guessing. You can open Paper from the browser toolbar and paste a Solana contract, or use the web terminal. Native terminal controls are unchanged.
Keep your practice history.
Paper 1.2.3 includes a read-only connection to My PnL. Open Paper from your browser toolbar, choose Settings → Connect website, and approve the Paper website. The dashboard shows your extension positions, live PnL and fills automatically in this browser. Disconnect anytime. You can still export a JSON backup from the Wallet section; website-only trading keeps its separate journal.
To update a downloaded version, back up your wallet, replace the extension files in the same folder, then click Reload on the extensions page. Removing the extension clears its local wallet.
Permissions, explained.
Paper uses extension storage for panel preferences and browser storage for the paper ledger. It requests access only to supported trading sites to identify the active token, read public displayed quotes and display its separate panel, and to the public market-data services it uses. Navigation access lets Paper cancel pending virtual orders when their tab reloads or navigates away. Navigation in unrelated tabs is ignored and no browsing-history log is kept. Paper does not request private keys, wallet connections or account credentials. The selected token or pool address is sent to the market-data provider to request a quote. Your paper balances, fills and settings remain in your browser. Firefox discloses this selected-page data access during normal installation.
